Your privacy is important to us. The AAVADB Privacy Policy describes what data we collect from you, the purpose for collecting the data in conjunction with the AAVADB Site and Services, how we share, process, and manage your Personal Data, and your rights associated with your data.

  • AAVADB collects Personal Data that you voluntarily provide us, when you create an Artist profile. We also collect Personal Data when you sign up for email newsletters or alerts on AAVADB.. Personal Data may contain your name, email, contact information, your location, as well as other information you provide to AAVADB.
  • AAVADB logs your visits and use of AAVADB, such as when you view or click on content, perform a search, or edit your profile. We use log-ins, cookies, device information and internet protocol (“IP”) addresses to identify you, your location, and log your use.
  • AAVADB may place a “cookie” and on your computer when you visit the Site. AAVADB may use cookies to personalize your experience using AAVADB, and to gather usage data that will help to improve the quality of the Site. AAVADB, as a data controller, collects and shares data with different data processors in the following categories:

Technology and Infrastructure: AAVADB distributes data to processors in order to host, enable and support the AAVADB platform and service.

Analytics and Reporting: AAVADB distributes data to Google Analytics to better understand user behavior and track key metrics in order to provide a better service to its Users.

Information, including information collected in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) may be transferred, stored and processed by AAVADB and its services providers in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may be different than the laws of your country. AAVADB uses PayPal to collect donations.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will make all reasonable efforts to delete it or isolate it from any further processing. AAVADB is a database for showcasing voice actors. Users located in EEA countries may choose to enter personal data relating to their race or ethnicity, trade union membership, gender and sexual orientation when using the service. This type of information is considered to be a part of the “Special Categories of Personal Data” under Article 9 of the GDPR. By choosing to enter the above categories of personal data on the AAVADB, you are giving explicit consent to the processing of this personal data for purposes referenced in this privacy policy.
